Went put sailing on Saturday with Mia and her roommates Addie and Syd (who is a cousin) and brother and sister James and Maeve. It was really windy when we set off around noon. Coincidentally my dad brought his boat down to Redondo within an hour and the wind caused a lot of difficulty for anchoring. A Cenoura held up well and Mia steered the boat all the way to bluff cove. We anchored and rope swung and then sailed back. Other than one person getting sea sick, it was a great time.
On Sunday I scrubbed like hell with a magic eraser to get the black soot/dirt off the rub rails. You can see a after/before picture it turned out alright. New replacements come in grey which would look nice but are around $350.
Then it was a afternoon of low-quality sounding 80s cover band in Hermosa on the beach. It was a weird scene of families and babies and 20-30 year old drunks and too-loud of tinny music with an awkward MC.
