I had good Friday off from work - the first "holiday" this year at work - and I tried to be as productive as possible. The day before I bought a longboard off Craigslist for half of what most used boards were going for. So I surfed in the morning, went to look at some storage units, got a haircut, went to look at more storage units and found the one. Cleaned up clutter on the boat and packed everything I don't use frequently such as surfboards and bikes and bins on jackets or suits, and dropped it all off at storage. It's funny to realize how few items it was but took up so much significant space on the boat. The rest of the weekend flew by, did more organizing of things into the true storage space on the boat, I wasn't utilizing as much as I could have. Now I have it laid out where I can actually sleep in the v berth at the bow and choose whether to have the drop-down dining table as a place to eat or keep the cushions there as a day-Bed or huge couch. Time will tell as Mia moves on to the boat and we have a new set of items to organize. Oh yeah, Mia is sure she will move aboard in a couple months and that's probably the coolest news to happen to A Cenoura in a long long time.

Went with this one. Largest and tallest unit for the 2nd lowest price of four options. 9 minute drive from the boat.

Looking extra space in a different way. Hideout for the Nintendo!

On Sunday we took the boat out just to anchor and have lunch, I realized that the anchor chain is horribly rusted, it's going to need to be replaced.
