My dad used to take us to air shows and build scaled replicas of planes like these to hang from our ceilings when we were young. Always fun to see the real things in the same paint scheme as the models

Pictures of the blue Angels always leave you having to count how many are actually in the frame  

At times they fly as close as 18 inches to each other, even upside down 

I think this kid was as ready as the pilots for the blue Angels takeoff

The precision is incredible  

A 3-jet engine, 36,000 horsepower truck with extra flames everywhere they can go. It's not just for show, this set a record by going 376 mph
