Slept in, woke up and set up the little sabot, went sailing pretty much all afternoon until grabbing dinner.  It’s funny how long it takes to rig a sailboat for the first time, it’s been that way with all four of my boats - holy cow, the sabot is my fourth sailboat in 9 years. Sounds impressive.

The joy of small dinghy sailing is so different than cruising on a bigger sailboat. Every little movement from body shift to a few inches of sheeting in effects the boat, I missed that while sailing the Catalina 30.  Of course, the sabot lacks lounging comfort, and a bathroom, and an ice chest, and music, and shade.

Mia and I made these pineapple burgers and put salsa and avocado on them, too. We agreed how nice it is to have dinner while it’s still light out and promised to make an effort to do it more.
