BBQ at Kait and Kevin's apartment in Silver Lake. (They are in the middle) 

During all the fun, I was balancing on one of those Indo Board balance boards. You know, the dangerous skateboard deck on top of a dangerous rolling cylinder that you balance on. I'm good at staying stable on them, I was doing nose-rides and all the tricks. Then I went to lay down on side of the board to get off of it, and it slipped, bounced up while I bent down and the corner of the board punched me in the chin.

So Mia and I had to leave with her cousin Syd who was driving us. I'm really lucky they're so caring because they took me to an urgent care and waiting in the middle of the night for me to get stitched up - 5 stitches.  

I should've known better.

Earlier that day we got to hang out in sierra Madre and see Mia's grandma!
