Cabin filter required a cleaning

Cabin filter required a cleaning

Had the first real sail in a long time. The headsail was sent out for washing (construction site debris soaked in) and it's not much better, however the company stitched new patches in so the sail has more life in it now.  The wind freshened up, it was mid-70s, and November. A Cenoura had a couple really good tacks and sailed smooth. Water was splashing over the deck, it was a great sail.

So, the fan for heating/AC/"climate" in my truck has been unreliable for a year and a half. I would have to upper-cut the glove box in order to get it to switch on, even then it was horrobly weak.

I ordered the Toyota fan motor, $130, it took removing 3 bolts and unplugging a couple wires to get the job done. Everything works like new now. Seriously it changed my life, plus it's safer because I can defog my windows this winter. It the best 20 minute repair I have ever done. Toyota quotes customers $1,300 for this, can you imagine? I will probably get a new cabin filter, though.

The old fan. 170,000 miles of use. Had no idea how large it was behind the glove box.
