Went down to Newport Beach for Friday night to meet with old friends whom I used to work with. Lots of fun there. This picture was taken the following morning when I was riding my bike back to where I had parked. This is the bridge from the peninsula to cross onto Lido Island, where I used to live. In the summer I would jump off of this bridge, but in the winter during a passing storm it merely served as a nice perch for a photo.imageAfter running a few errands to West Marine and using the gift card my brother gave me for Christmas, I ended up back at A Cenoura, and it was doodoodock day. This is an exciting time that occurs about once every 2 months, (depending) when the waste holding tank needs to be pumped out. The same series of passing weather had a calmer look to it in Redondo Beach.imageInteresting weather means photo opportunities. Something to note: the water in my harbor has been very clear, despite all of the rain. So at lower tides one can see all of the rocks and miscellaneous things that lay on the sandy bottom. Apparently A 5'x5’ cement block sunk under the dock I walk down, and an anchor!image

I did a good amount of cleaning, riding my bike around, relaxing, and going out again.  There’s some irrelevant photos, and those I usually will upload to Flickr. You can see them by clicking on the “Flickr” link to the side. Notably, a photo of me and someone desperate for attention who wore a reindeer costume to a bar.

This upcoming week and weekend is all 62-68 degree sunny days, with light wind. There is a very large surf swell arriving during the week, so sailing on New years day is questionable. Surfing looks more likely.
