The week around January 21
The waves have been good since Sunday, the water was so clear that I couldn’t see texture on the waves I surfed, I could just see straight through to the sand bottom. It was like flying instead of surfing. I have had flu-like symptoms for 3 days so far but I think it’s letting up thanks to the daily medicine I’ve been buying. Also, a mechanic surprised me by going to my boat to do an oil change without scheduling the appointment so he had to move dirty clothes and my bed/dining table out of the way. Then he gave me news that the water pump, of which I bought the spare, should be replaced. Additionally, the heat exchanger needs to be tested and removed etc etc something something and around $550 just for labor.
