The parking lot at my new employer as well as the surrounding area has these oil wells in Gardena. You get used to the smell of oil, nowadays it actually just reminds me of my boat motor. Over the weekend Mia and I took out my friend Robby and his wife, we went to their wedding back in February. The weather was good enough to have an urge to rope swing off the boat. Meanwhile my liveaboard neighbor Connor climbing up his mast in my busons chair. Glad somebody is getting use out of it, because I haven’t yet. It was a really mellow weekend of relaxing, boating/anchoring, getting fuel (a whopping 10 gallons to fill up and it’s been since September last year) after we helped Connor and Jim with Connors project, Mia, myself, Connor and his girlfriend all biked to Hots Kitchen on Sunday day night. The next week I found a huge shiny new screw in the sidewall of my tires. Good thing I have the warranties on them, $45 is all I paid for an entirely new tire to be put on. It was a hassle to schedule though, and I think it’s fair for the shade hotel construction to reimburse me, because of the sloppy messes they are making outside of the construction site are taking their toll on us. Oh well.
