Some time ago I was kneeling down low enough to see this 9v battery under the under ceiling of the control panel table top. Ah-ha! I thought, that must be the independent power source for this black thingamajig all the wires lead into. So, if it’s powered by a little battery, instead of shore power or boat batteries, well dang, I bet it measures them in case they all died.
I just popped in a new 9v and the display lit up. I pressed 1, 2, 3, and 4. Well 1 and 2 got the display to read about 9.8. Button 3 said 6.1 and button 4 stayed at 0.0. There is a homemade label stuck on top of the display that states “12.8 full charge. 12.6 half charge”. Does this mean my batteries are low? I think so.
