I woke up at 6am and went surfing in Hermosa. It wasn’t that bad for LA standards but it also wasn’t that good, however I like surfing around here more than Huntington because nobody else is in the water here, and if I do find myself near 3 or 4 other surfers, usually they can’t catch waves. Worked out, came back in the afternoon and couldn’t think of anything to do with the fading daylight, so I got dinner, made it, and went to sleep pretty early. I wanted to surf Sunday morning, too, because it was forecast to be better. However super strong howling winds woke up up around 230 - see the screen shot - and I had a hunch that they would ruin my chances for a surf session. When I woke up at 630 it was still windy so I slept in.
