Last night I was walking up the dock and tripped on that hose (it was laying farther out) and came within about .5 of an inch from being called anchor-face for the rest of my life.
Life is dangerous on the docks.
Which brings me to a less life-threatening story. Last weekend I was stepping off of my boat with my bicycle lock key in my hand, it slipped out. What do you think the chances are that if I dive down in my wetsuit and snorkel mask a couple weeks later that I could find the 3" long black and grey key? The $120 chain lock only came with two keys, and the hardware stores cannot duplicate the one I have left.
