7am wake up call to start my day working on the boat. Light bulbs, cleaning carpet, cleaning under upholstery to prevent mold, washing covers, washing topsides, washing sides, waxing sides, it all went down today. Except I went to unscrew the light bulb over the dining area and all that came out was glass, the rest of the lightbulb was stuck in the socket. So I thought this was a great opportunity to replace the old socket, too. Now I can’t get it to work again. More effort to come tomorrow.
This was my first attempt at waxing a boat and I think it turned out well, it’s smooth and a little reflective. I had to contort my body to get all the surfaces and even sit on my surfboard in the water to get parts near the bow. Not the most fun job but the outcome is good. Tomorrow I’m hoping to get even more done.
