Mia and I anchored out Sunday, the wind was light and switching around a lot so we dropped the stern anchor. We’re getting pretty good at this. In fact, compared to these sailboats anchoring technique, you could consider us seasoned professionals.
These guys came in towing the wooden boat, while moving a few knots forward and close to the already anchored powerboat, they just let the bow anchor go. Drifted over it, swung around a 360 all while pulling the wooden boat around with them. To make things more interesting a 3rd sailboat came and tied alongside. It was a mess for about an hour.
This Sunday was probably the busiest day I’ve ever seen for boats heading out and coming in. It was high 70s before the clouds set in, and everyone has heard about the whales.
