A quick weekend of boat battery maintenance. I haven’t ever done it on my boat, which is bad because you’re supposed to check your batteries every couple of months.
It seems that two dual purpose batteries with strong voltage and in-need of distilled water are what act as the starter and house batteries. There’s two big 6volt batteries under the cockpit and they are labeled for the refrigerator. That’s great to know if I wanted to run batteries to keep it cold, because all I use is a bag of ice and it’s been fine. However, the switch to get those batteries working for the refrigerator doesn’t seem to do anything.
I took Mia’s advice and shortened the pole of the American flag, it looks much better now like it belongs on a boat and not over a garage. I picked up this solar powered mason jar light thing just because it looks neat at night.
I got Mia flowers after a tough day she spent filing something at court, but I didn’t have a vase.

Other activities included surfing and body surfing good waves in Redondo on Sunday morning. Mia and I rode my bikes over there and stayed at the people for a couple hours. We dropped off the surfing stuff and rode to Hermosa beach to get some breakfast burritos. I say this a lot, I love to ride my bikes places.  On Saturday we drove to 3 different stores that I assumed would all have a hydrometer (to test the water in the batteries) however none of them did, and then I bought one at O'Reilly.
