Sunday July 7th, plan was to meet up with some off the friends and family from the wedding for a hike near Sausalito. Myself and Mia were unfortunately unable to stay long for the hike because we had to drive back to LA, so we made an appearance to properly say goodbye to everyone there. Good thing, too, because the drive took almost 10 hours due to traffic accidents and congestion. Even the exits for gas stations along highway 5 were gridlocked.
The whole trip was a ton of fun and went by in a flash.
When I got back around 10pm Sunday nigh to the sailboat, I could smell and see that my neighbors upwind (most of the time) had sanded and begun painting the topside of their boat. That’s cool, it’s going to look great when they are finished and the two co-owners seem to be doing all the labor themselves. I’m glad I had Monday off from work so I could hose off all the sanded paint/dust from my boat, unfortunately not off of my bike - which I rode to the gym wearing black shorts - which had white dust stuck to the ass in the shape of my bike seat while I worked out. Funny funny.
