Cinco de mayo week 2014
Mia is studying like crazy for her last law school finals and took the opportunity to stay at the boat this week, I guess a lack of tv channels and roommates to hang out with, or pretty much anything to do than sit on a boat, is a nice environment for studying. She made me fajitas and stuff and we had that on cinco de mayo. That picture is a glimpse of what cooking something really simple for 2 people looks like in the galley.
It was really windy again and the fence they built to replace the fallen scaffold structure also fell down in the wind. Currently the metal fence is back up and supported from the leeward side by angled rusty pipes and left over plywood from the scaffolding. I’m sure it’ll hold.
Also, there’s a lot of interesting characters and things I see during work in downtown Huntington Beach… This weeks winners are two insanely small cattle dog looking puppies. Maybe they were full grown. I couldn’t tell.
